Translator
Job Description
Responsible to interpret spoken or written material (Chinese to English and Bahasa Malaysia or Vice versa) ensures meaning, context and technical wording are maintained.
Responsibilities:
Translate verbal and written communications between Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia languages for in-house staff.
Translate communication in the meetings such as phone/web conference, in-house staff meeting, etc.
Translate technical documentation and other documents, including forms, procedure, email etc. between the languages.
Responsible to proof-read, edit and revise translated materials.
Provide administrative supports to the project teams as and when necessary.
Requirements:
At least a Certificate or Diploma or Professional Degree in Linguistics/Languages, or equivalent.
Good Communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels.
Must be proficient in Chinese, English, Bahasa Melayu and computer literate.
This position will be based in Batu Kawan, Seberang Perai Selatan, Pulau Pinang, 6 months contract.
** Experienced of interpreter/ translator in construction or manufacturing will be an added advantage.
