Internship IT (6 months)

Provide resources on Time & Material Basis to perform Services for Asset & Application Portfolio Management. Provide resources with necessary functional & technical skills, as requested by IT Managers who would assign tasks to the deployed resources. The resources would perform:

Asset management support for IT Operations
Application Portfolio Management Support for IT Operations

Deliverables: The resources will work and complete assigned task that may include support or development activity and create required deliverables as applicable and defined in AMD process documents & as per published specifications.

Asset Management

The resources would perform:-

Develop and execute a phased plan to roll out ITAM processes, starting with inventory, data normalization, policies, standards, and KPI definitions. Analyze, develop, deploy, and maintain processes, policies, standards, and measurements as part of the daily operational asset management activities and long-term IT asset portfolio. Implement quality control measures to manage and audit the lifecycle of all IT assets by developing operating procedures to track these assets. Generate and distribute various reports, including compliance reports on current assets and CIs and their status; also perform trend analyses.

Application Portfolio Management

The resources would perform:-

• Process catalog tasks to update Business Application to server mappings for newly deployed servers and decommissioned servers.

• Process tasks related to Business Application and Business Service updates

• Process tasks related to retiring Business Applications and Services

• Proactively review Business Applications and Services with Inactive Owners and work to identify new owners

• Proactively initiate server mapping reviews and updates for Business Applications

• Perform ongoing quality checks of Business Application and Business Service information

• Review and respond to assigned knowledge feedback tasks in support of Knowledge Management in Service Now
