When PROTON  started out, our main objective was to propel Malaysia into the 21st century as an industrialised nation. From day 1, we set out to strategically develop indigenous R&D and design capabilities while aiming for world class manufacturing and production standards. Our desire to constantly improve continues to this day, undoubtedly leading to PROTON being at the forefront of the automotive industry.
