Industrial Engineering Technician

• To provide support to the senior or IE Engineer in planning layout, standardization, line setup & coordination and optimization of resources.
• Help on support new line setup fabrication and 5S.
• Assist IE engineers with raising Coupa.
• To assure production tooling, processing equipment and workstations are available and maintained.
• To assist in layout, workstation and conveyor move and setup activities.
• To assist in prepares time/cost estimates for proposed projects.
• To assist IE engineers with meeting suppliers/vendors and assists them with technical information require for the job performance.
• Recommends method for improving throughput, efficiency and reducing waste by lean process.
• To ensure and assist to maintain an excellent in 5s housekeeping
• To perform periodic PM on non-standard trolleys used in manufacturing.
• To assist in taking cycle time studies.
• To assist in collection purchased items from receiving.
• To assist in layout, workstation and conveyor setup or move activities. Prepare cost/time estimates for proposal projects.
• Standardization of material handling system, storage systems and workstation.
• To ensure the surplus gears are maintained.
• To preform periodic PM on small tools & standard trolleys.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma in Industrial/Mechanical/Mechatronics PC skill in AutoCAD, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
• Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Occasional travel may be required.Diploma in any Engineering field or possess certificate with 2-3 years of relevant working experience.
