About Company
Lynas is an integrated source of rare earths from mine to customer. The company’s resource deposit in Mt Weld, Western Australia, is acknowledged as one of the highest grade rare earths mine in the world. Lynas rare earth oxides are mined and initially processed at our Mt Weld Concentration Plant.
The materials are then shipped to the industrial port in Kuantan, Malaysia, and transported to our 100 hectare Lynas Advanced Materials Plant (LAMP) in Kuantan. At LAMP, we undertake a complex series of refining and concentration operations to produce high quality rare earth minerals.
As well as producing high quality and provenance assured rare earth materials, our customers value Lynas’ reliability and sustainability of supply. These materials are purchased by customers all over the world, who demand the best technical solution to produce their essential technologies, including high powered magnets, wind turbines, catalytic converters, oil cracking and hybrid motor vehicles.
