Transfer Pricing Accountant

Our office in Kuala Lumpur is home to our dynamic Global Business Services team who provides strategic and transactional services for Huntsman from our Shared Service Centre. As a Transfer Pricing Accountant you will:

Daily maintenance of inter-company product transfer pricing included calculation, discussion and update in SAP and other divisional database

Monthly and Quarterly mass update of Transfer Price included calculation, discussion and update in SAP and other divisional database

Monthly analysis of entity results based on selected methodology, working with country Finance Manager/Country Accountant for the explanation of deviation and obtain/ coordinate suggestions from country Finance Manager/Country Accountant on how shortfall in targeted margin can be bridged

Monthly/Quarterly preparation of segmented P&L

Support divisional global Transfer Pricing policy establishment and execution

Support Transfer Price related compliance works, which included local Transfer Pricing Documentation (TPD), custom audit, tax audit and etc

Support the project related to TP and participant in UAT (User Acceptance Test)

Work closely with Corporate Tax and ITC (International Trade Compliance) teams on the TP relevant regulation and reflected in the TP set up

Ad hoc analysis on the TP related issue

Follows instructions and performs other duties as may be assigned by superior

Assists other employees in accomplishment of Huntsman company goals

Participates in and completes company-required training program

Participates in Environmental, Health, & Safety initiatives as set forth by the company

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

Degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent with 1 year of experience

Prior work experience in a shared service and accounting environment

Ability to works on tasks and resolve problems that are complex in nature under limited supervision

Ability to exercise considerable judgement and apply professional concepts, company policies and procedures to solve routine problems

Proficient in MS Office, MS Excel is a must

Ability to prioritize and work under tight timelines

Good written and communication skills in English. Comfortable in working with diversified cultures

Able to excel in a fast-paced environment

Customer-service and Tasks oriented &#; needs and delivering quality work at all times

Experience in accounting systems such as SAP would be a plus
