Job Description

Huntsman Global Business Services is now looking for a dynamic individual as a Supply Chain Excellence (SCE), Business Process Owner, ASIA & PACIFIC for our Performance Products Division at our regional Business Service Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

As the SCE Business Process Owner for APAC, reporting to the Global Supply Chain Excellence organization, you will be responsible for creating, sustaining, and improving people, processes and systems to meet the business objectives.

 

As a Supply Chain Excellence (SCE), Business Process Owner, ASIA & PACIFIC you will:

 

Projects and Process Improvements

Develop, plan, and execute ideas for projects and process improvements based on business requirements. Provide support and guidance to the operational teams during the implementation.  Maintain and administer procedures and Master Data process improvements with full understanding of detailed business and systems processes that interact with the businesses.  Assist team in leveraging provided tools and fully utilize reporting tools to increase accuracy and throughput. Facilitate the review of standard systems and future programs to drive continuous improvement and drive efficiency

 

Facilitate and Liaison

Subject matter expert liaison between the business, shared services and IT in order to identify gaps as well as duplicated efforts. Work with management to develop, change, and keep up-to date documentation for all procedures and processes. Liaise with other regions to coordinate process improvements

 

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

Investigate and resolve technical failures raised by super user’s; troubleshoot and resolve issues including errors, enhancements, and improvements related to SAP and other system issues; ensure questions and problems are answered accurately and efficiently

 

Compliance

Facilitate and coordinate with SOX Internal Auditor’s for compliance activities and drive improvements in procedures where a SOX failure is identified.  Regular SAP role review to ensure proper access is given and SOX remediation is completed

 

SAP prioritization

Manage SAP tickets with IT, regional and cross business counterparts along with users ensuring consistency and priorities

 

Education

Support regional SAP super users and site SAP users support by ensuring workflows and training are in place

 

Key User for Cloud for Customer (C4C) Tool

Administer the end user maintenance in SAP for PP APAC region.  Responsible to maintain sample Products as required by end user and support mass upload of Minimum and Target Price records for Commercial

 

What skills and experiences are we looking for?

A minimum of an Associate Degree in Supply Chain / Business Management or 10+ years related experience; Bachelor Degree preferred

Good Mandarin communication skills, both verbal and written

High ability to multitask and prioritize workload and achieve objectives in a timely manner is required.

Ability to think independently, make decisions, and work through influence

Focused and result driven

Manage diversity and work across cultures

Good analytical strengths and the ability to identify and manage opportunities & risks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to handle and manage conflict is required

Pro-activeness & demonstrate strong leadership skills

Minimum 5 years of SAP is required with experience in SD, MM, PP, FI/CO. WM and QM modules, favored

Experience with SAP process documentation and training ability essential, specifically processes involving Supply Chain related activities.  Manufacturing, Sales/Marketing, R&D, and Third Party Toll Manufacturing experience desired

Project Management skills are desired
